 bilities and limitations of multispecies ethnography on plantations. In pa
 rticular, we focus on 2 articles that Sophie Chao published in 2018 and 2
 021 in which she explores various multispecies solidarities and antagonism
 s in oil palm's plantations, while also considering plantation regimes as
  parasitic systems. This event is open to students, faculty and the broad
 er Ethnography Lab community. The talk will be moderated by the group's co
